- Has the amount of vitamin D recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics for infants and toddlers who consume less than one quart of milk or formula per day. Designed to help meet the nutritional needs of your growing infant or toddler. An ideal multivitamin supplement during your child's transition to solid foods, during growth spurts, or for the picky eater. One daily dose has 8 vitamins and iron and is fruit flavored. Lactose-free and free of artificial sweeteners. Comes with a child resistant cap.
- Directions
- How to use the enclosed syringe: Fill the syringe to the 1 mL line to provide the full daily dosage. Use full dosage, regardless of age or weight, unless your child's doctor recommends a different dosage. Dispense slowly into your child's mouth toward the inner cheek. It is normal for a small amount to remain in the tip. Dosing tips: Product may be given by dispensing directly into the mouth. It may also be mixed with formula, fruit juice, cereal or other foods to increase your child's acceptance. Refrigeration not required. After opening, store away from direct sunlight.
- Warnings
- Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6. Keep this product out of the reach of children. In case of accidental overdose call a doctor or poison control center immediately. While taking liquid multivitamin supplements with iron, a slight darkening of the teeth may occur. Brushing will minimize this temporary condition.
