- For use orally, rectally or under the arm. A green screen indicates no fever is detected, yellow suggests a slightly elevated temperature, and red signals fever. Results will vary by individual and method used. Clinical results range from 7 to 38 seconds. Average read times in clinicals: 11 seconds rectal, 15 seconds oral and 16 seconds underarm.
